2006 Scholarship Recipients
Paul’s Hauling Ltd. has recently awarded annual scholarships totalling $50,000 to 17 sons and daughters of their employees.
Janaya Palsson, Ashley Gagne, Evan Fer, Allison Elliot, John-Paul Beauchemin, Julie Goertzen, Renae Reiser, Cliff Fewings and Kristine Marshall of Winnipeg, Beau Ottenbreit and Hanna Stafford of Stonewall, Christian Urban and Shawn Andrey of Brandon, Katie-Marie Ringland of Rivers, Ryan May of Souris, Daniel Crossley of Ignace, ON and Caitlin Sutherland of Tantallon, SK will share in the money for the current school year.
The Company’s Scholarship Fund, in its fifth year of operation, aims to encourage the pursuit of post-secondary education for the sons and daughters of Paul’s Hauling employees.
The scholarship program is in honour of Paul Albrechtsen, the founder of the Company, who also makes a significant contribution to the Fund each year. Since its inception, more than $203,000 has been awarded under the program.
